Today is Earth Day or Green Day. It is intended to inspire awareness of and appreciation for the Earth's environment. Was not totally sure on how to celebrate such a day. Creatively I made this apron out of grocery bags. A great 4-H project. Cut bags flat, lay between wax paper, warm iron. NO sewing needed. The apron is about 4+ bags thick. I think I used about 16 to 20 Food Town bags to make this apron.

I saw a crafter make disposable bags into reusable grocery bags by doing this - so eco-chic!
