Can I complain?

One of our neighbors likes to feed the squirrels. And now our yard is over run with them. They are nothing more than rats with tails!! I’ve been setting out live traps with peanut butter to hold down nuts. Every time I set a trap, I have caught a squirrel. My husband then takes them to work to release somewhere out in one of the farm fields. 6 squirrels down and a million more to trap.

My husband, who recently had his left hip replaced, accidentally fell on some metal pipes at work and has a huge, large goose egg or knots in the right cheek of his butt. He is refusing to go to the doctors.

My daughter is pregnant with child #2. In this same time I have gain double the weight as she has. Instead of me carrying a baby, all I have are the damn squirrels.

Mr. Handicapped Son seems to only want to have a BM when he thinks he’s alone with his mother. Come on!! 21 years of changing diapers, it isn’t fun anymore and even changing his diaper is a workout.

Mr. Not Handicapped Son (but sometimes I wonder) locked his car with all the keys to the car, his wallet, I pod, charge card and check book in his car. All the items where in the car were in view too for all to see.

My clothes dryer broke. My car is making a terrible noise. Need to mow grass but it's rained everyday. I need a handicapped van but have no money. AND every time I complain, something else terrible happens to help me forget about everything else.

The Program

Thomas school program was standing room only. The quilt I made was up hanging in the middle of the stage. Tried to take a picture of it but we were so far away you can't see it in the picture.
Thomas on stage doing his part in the program.
His needed to hit a switch to change the pictures of him on
the screen.
This is what you saw of him on the screen.
While waiting for your classmates, he stare at the lights.

Another Quilt

Tomorrow is Thomas’ school’s yearly spring program. This year is the 20th program since the school started. The school asks me to make a quilt out of previous show shirts to hang in the auditorium during the show. In 1994 they started making shirts for the show, so a bag a shirts was dropped off and I started cutting and sewing. Before finishing it up, I took the quilt up to school just to see if it met with their approval. They didn’t care for the shirt that they use to celebrate the 25 anniversary of the school in the quilt, even though it was use too as a show shirt. Monday night went this years show shirt we done, I cut out that square and cut up a new shirt for the quilt. It needed to be done today so to be hung up tomorrow.

This spring program is attended by so many people that it’s no longer held at Thomas’s school, but now held in Monroe High School. Every year during this week the kids from Tom’s school are bussed over to Monroe High during the school day to practice on stage. This year during this week, our week of rehearsals, Monroe High school has had a series of bomb threats that have disrupted our run through for two days. I think the students at Monroe and just paying us back. For usually its one of our students that pulls the fire alarm while we’re there.

No Body or Bunny

A few years ago I bought the most adorable Bunny costume. Do you think I could get one single person in my family to put it on for the Easter party? NO! There are tons of kids in the family too. Wouldn't you love your picture taken with him?? Once again the Easter bunny is spending another Easter in a box in the closet. I even tried to get Mark to wear it, just stand at the end of the driveway and wave to cars going past.
No wonder the bunny drinks and smokes.

The Weekend

We had two young girls spend with weekend with us and a house full of guest that came and went. Hooray, Thomas John is feeling better. He ran a fever most of the weekend but he’s now almost back to normal. More importantly I feel asleep Saturday night about 9 and slept until 8 Sunday morning.
