For a few YEARS now my husband has been complaining that from time to time and very unexpectedly his heart will race. Lately I've noticed it more and more, well, not notice but hear my husband complain or he'll ask me to listen to his heart. Twice now he has came home from work and told me if it didn't stop soon we were going to the hospital.
On the 8th of this month the doctor sent him in for a stress test with the dye in the arm and they give you a fake heart attack and watch your heart react. They sent him home with a heart monitor, LifeWatch, through a cell phone they are able to watch all his heart activities.
Tuesday that doctor that preformed the dye stress test called and said Don pasted the test with flying colors. His heart is in great shape. 50 is a perfect score and he was a 54. The doctor also stated he saw no real reason for us to come back this month for a recheck we can wait until February for a recheck.
Yesterday I've received 3 phone calls from the cardiologist office wanting to know how my husband is and to be sure to watch and check up on him often. Don heart has been racing from 150 to 180 most of the morning. Also received a phone call at 3 in the morning asking if he was ok.
