somethings I just didn't want to know

All from the year, 1958.
Do we really need to know how many teeth she does or doesn't have?

A bridal shower.... do you really care about the decorations?

So often in the paper you'll see that someone moved even if it's just around the corner.

A teacher retiring from Mason school letting us know how he feels--

If you wanted to break in to someone's house it would have been easy then. Not only did they tell you who was in the hospital but often why and who their visitors were too.

Maybe you had to read the paper to know what to wear and bring with you.??

maybe it was important in the 50's to know who drove the bus???

No matter what the party was seems its important to let everyone know about how the tables were decorated.

My Mother

Found a newspaper article from 1958 were there was a Special party was held and my mother was one of the special guest invited to this party. What an honor!!! My mind races with what kind of party this could have been. Do you think they dressed up in their Sunday best? Do you think they drank tea with their pinkies in the air? What kind of a special party could this have been for it to make into the local newspapers? When I ask my mom about it, she said she thought it was a Tupperware party.

That Man?

Here is my son on the day that the local school called and said that they driver forgot FORGOT to drop him off. How can any bus driver with this sitting behind your seat miss him???
For whatever reason he does not like having bm anywhere but home. While traveling back home from Laura's he cried for about an hour in the car. Got home, made a big poop and then all was well with the world. He is driving me crazy!!!
