Max's 1st Birthday

Sunday was Max's first birthday party. It was held at an upper floor at an ice skating rink where you could watch the skaters below. There were many steps up to this floor with no elevator for Tommy's wheelchair. Asking for help in getting Tommy & wheelchair up the stairs. It was like pulling teeth.

Once up at the party I took some time to relax before talking to anyone. Mark didn’t want to go to this party, so I told him to do whatever he wanted to just to make it kind of fun. As I relax and look up, here is my son at the bar drinking a beer. “Mark, Get your mother one too!” was about the only thing I could say. No, he's not 21 yet.

Max was adorable. He was very good for a someone who needed a nap
You could tell he was so tired. Unlike G, Max doesn't talk, but he walked everywhere all the time and did enjoy some ice time.

This is the quilt/gift I made for Max. I even sew his name into it. I made 2 pink Easter quilts too, one for G and one for her friend Grace.
