My New Years Resolution is to plant more flowers this coming year.
It's a resolution that I can keep. As a child my grandmother would lecture us on recalling all our mistakes of the past and resolving to do better and to be a better person in the new year. She would not let us leave until we told her our new years resolution and it had to be a resolution that she totally approved of. Are you going to help the poor? Donate more time to the needed? It was things like that she wanted to hear. I hated it and I can't even remember any of the resolutions I told her. Of course I just wanted out of the room, told her what she wanted to hear and never had any intentions of keeping them. Planting more flowers every year is something uncontrollable that done since Laura's been born. A safe and keep able resolution.
